Jennifer has been such a help when it has come to my cat Anakin. He’s had behavioral issues for many years and I got to the point where I needed to reach out to a behaviorist. I’m so glad I found her because she has been fantastic. She has a wealth of knowledge and a passion for what she does. She’s very kind, professional and courteous. She has been very sympathetic to what problems I’ve been going through with my cat. She listens and offers advice without any judgment - as she wants you to succeed !
She also sends a bunch of resources- some of which I’ve even saved and passed on to my clients at work!! I can’t thank Jennifer enough for what she does and I recommend her anybody looking to strengthen their relationship with their cat.

Jennifer is simply a life saver. After one of my older cats passed away, my other cat (14 years old) seemed lost and depressed. So I went and got a kitten to keep her company. Unfortunately, all the kitten wanted to do was torment her. At my wits’ end and not sure what to do, I reached out to Jennifer for help. Jennifer watched my cats interact with each other via zoom (which was very helpful as they had no idea they were being watched - the little one was scared of new people) and told me exactly what was going on.
She reassured me that the kitten wasn’t purposely tormenting my older cat, but trying desperately to play with her. And the older cat was actually playing back! The signs I took as aggression from both cats were not that at all. A few times the older cat actually initiated play. I was beyond relieved. Jennifer showed me what each movement the cats made was (e.g., ears back, hissing), answered questions I had about each one’s idiosyncrasies, and suggested valuable ways to keep everyone content. She also suggested some toys that my cats (and I) absolutely love! She introduced my kitten to clicker training, which has been amazing and fun for the whole family. She provided me with detailed write ups on what the issues were, how to resolve them, and videos to watch. She even checked in with me a few weeks after our session to see how we are all doing. Long story short, she brought peace and harmony into our lives.
Vancougar, Slartibartfast and I will always be eternally grateful for her services. Five stars and two thumbs up.”

Jenn VV, as she is affectionately known, is truly a cat whisperer.
I thought I understood cats and I certainly had many cats before meeting Jenn, but Jenn has taken my relationship to my feline to a whole new, and improved place.
I was fortunate to inherit two of Jenn’s rescue kittens. She and her unwavering husband rescued these brothers in heavy rains – desludging the Los Angeles basin. The kittens were drowning in mud and only able to scream of help. Hearing the muffled cries, Jenn leaped into action with her husband close behind. Climbing a stone wall, the two of them captured these infants and saved them from drowning. Taking these tiny orphans into her bathroom, she proceeded to clean them up, digging caked mud from their little paw pads and stabilizing them enough to get them to the vet. This wasn’t an easy task – these traumatized brothers weren’t used to human contact – they were feral. But with her expertise and deep connection to cats – they trusted her. The rest of this story is a happy one. I have these two gorgeous cats – Jayden and Orca (named by Jenn’s then 7-year-old son). Jayden is a hefty 32 pounds of sleek black elegance. Orca is a handsome, tuxedoed gentleman who loves an adventure. Their healthy emotional stability is all attributed to Jenn’s understanding of cat behavior and how to manage a feline’s personality.
Years later, Jenn came to my assistance again helping me with my newest rescue, Tigger. Tiggs had a horrible start that was exacerbated by serious health issues. Tiggs was so ill and emaciated that it was 8 months with lots of medical care and careful handling before he was strong enough for neutering. Jenn was right there beside me helping me understand how to care for Tigger, get him safely socialized with the other animals in my household, and help Tigger heal emotionally from all his trauma.
Two years later, Tigger is one heck of a silly cat with all the self-confidence in the world. At his robust 10 pounds – he loves to sneak attack Jayden! That takes some courage since Jay is 3 times as big as sweet Tiggs.
All of this to say, that Jenn VV has helped me understand the intricacies of raising cats and maintaining a happy, peaceful homelife with a multitude of species, living in a small space on a limited budget. Jenn is definitely an amazing cat behaviorist with so much more. Her good advice is the helping hand needed to smoothly run a home with felines.
